    The heart and soul of the labor movement is the commitment of its members to serve the membership, their families, and the community at large.  Here at Local 1069, our members are active in many different UAW-chartered committees.  These committees address a myriad of issues that affect our members and their lives and livelihoods.  Rather than sit back and react to fallout from the actions of others, our committees take a pro-active approach to those issues affecting working families, whatever the situation.
